The A438 drives with a 25 tooth sprocket on bot the RH and lH side unless the combine is equipped with a rare variable speed header drive. The A430 drives with a 13 tooth best I can remember, I will post n tomorrow. There are some good info in past posts concerning F2 setup. Rasps with filler bars, 25 tooth sprocket on beater drive, tie up the curtain by simply drilling a hole and inserting a long 3_8" bolt through the side with a nut inside and outside and let the head protrude inward to serve as a stop for the curtain. Access through lH raddle inspection cover just traction drive belt. Walkers in nearly front position and long finger chaffer. Chaffer levelers are helpfull. Make sure engine RPM is always above 2300.

Use the curtain over the chopper- otherwise the cobs, being sent back by the rotor, will rip up the rear of the walkers.
