The new cost on the display is about $1900(I think, cant remember off the top of my head). They make a rebuilt but will only sell it with an exchange unit. They are the same unit for tractor or combine. You would need the Deere wiring harness(at least connections)to wire it into another brand. The display, however, is only a display, you would need a processor and satellite reciever to use the whole thing. The processor has two pcmcia slots in it for data gathering, storage and provision to spray units. We have a couple of complete units for sale if you decide you need the whole thing. You would need only the display for what you are doing you should be able to purchase all kinds of them this winter for about 500 (well that is what most dealers are allowing when trading up to the G*2 system) new the displays are about 1300.00
