Combines Ground Speed with 8820

In that range with a 230 header and a 8820 (not II) we ran between 3 and 3.2 some ran alittle faster but we could not keep it from coming out of the back of the machine. The power was there, so I would start at 3.5 and just see how it is running and go from there.

Thanks for the info. The speed you sujested was exactly what I ran our '82 8820 at. It seems as if last nights hail storm might unfortuantly increase my ground speeds considerably though. Sometimes you just can't win!
