last week monday we had stones that were 4" across but the marble ones were more concentrated and did more damage.wheat and sunflowers got hit hard,pinto,navy,and black beans got schredded. P.S i think that sucks
had wheat get hit by hail, went to combine it today and looked like 5-7 bu on the ground before i started and 10 after. my reel as slow as i could and still alot of shatter. probably in the 70-85 range after the hail and harvest. been some 105-108 bu wheat in our area.
Had only 10 acres of wheat in this year and about 8 acres was flat, cut it last weekend with the haybine to try to save the alfalfa seeding underneath. Have about two to three acres left standing now but the hail thinned it out for us, what can you doIJ I guess it will still make good straw, he- he.
