In our area, things are slow goin'. Alot of guys have started, but many are yet to turn a wheel. Harvest is probably 3 to 4 weeks behind here in Saskatchewan as compared to most other years. She's going to be a late one, and a tough one.
here on the east coast, harvest is later than last year. crop is tall, heavy and lots of green under growth. can't seem to get dry straw. yields were up about 40% but last weeks rain beat the grain off the stalk and down. last year we were all done our contract cutting by this time but this year we are just a third completed. ground speed on the combines is bull low and as slow as they'll go and that ain't slow enough sometimes. that tells the whole story.
long time no see Tom I was just wondering how you are coming rebuilding that 1500 and if you are using it this harvest. my e-mail is jjkvh@gpcom.net thanks John from nebraska p s did those manuals help you any
