Combines Harvest has started

Hey, thanks for the "picture" of the start of the grain harvest! Things are all amuck up here in WI - everything at a standstill due to rain and cold weather. Oats are growing, but a long ways off yet. It's nice to imagine those Gleaners burning up a field of grain. Gets the "hankerin'" going for harvesting! Keep us informed - you and everybody along the harvest run! Tom langan

I think are harvest up here in NW Nebraska will be 2 to 3 weeks ahead of schedule. We were all headed out before Memorial day which is very unusual, weather was to dry but we just got 2.5" so that should make the wheat. Custom guys might be a little late up here this year glad I got my own machines.

Nothing like your message to get a little harvest fever started. Here in SW NE we should be about 3 weeks away. We have had some rain and some cool weather during the grain fill period so barring extremely hot dry conditions we should have a good crop. Seeing those custom cutters come in and just swarm a field is quite a sight. I'll bet that did feel pretty good to have him come over and notice your machine. All the years of taking care of your machines sure paid off. Have a good harvest and keep us updated.
