Up here in north east Sask., there are a lot of acres to harvest yet. By the way..what do you do with the Snow GeeseIJ Many people say the meat is tough as hell, and you have to throw in an old running shoe in the pot to tenderize it What area do you hunt inIJ

Is there a difference between Snow Geese and Canadian GeeseIJ There are several folks around here who hunt Canadian Geese and one guy I know grinds them up into "Goose Burgers"! BTW, I seen the first flock flying south two days ago. Tom langan

You are correct about the old shoe in the pot. My favorite why to cook the Sobs (Snows or Blues)is to dump them in the crook pot with alot of seasoning the night before the big feast. Cook them all the next day. At meal time throw the goose in the trash and eat the crock pot.
