Combines harvest to cruise

My in-laws have been on an Alaskan and liked it. My wife and I have been on cruises in Hawaii and a couple of Carribean cruises. Our thoughts and experience has been to take the least expensive rooms as we spend very little time in the room except to change clothes and sleep. There are a lot of activities on deck or just to be on deck to relax. There is not a whole lot of difference in the size of the rooms. If you arrange the cruise far enough ahead of time you can usually get a free upgrade to the next level, (pricewise). We have always found that just one or two price levels up from the bottm has always been very adequate. If you want to really get away from it all and be pampered AND eat a lot, a cruise is the way to go. Have fun!

bird wouldn't a cruise in the south pacific be more fun than brrrr! ice and snow spotting up north.Besides our dollar is low compared to the greenback and the weather is great in Australia at this time of the year and you ain't seen nothing till you have cruised The Great Barrier Reef.If you want to you can even hire your own yacht and sail around the Witsunday ilands at your own pace,it's a unreal feeling to be able to visit deserted beaches.P.S There are no blizzards over here at this time of year.:) john

I agree with Silver Bullet. Unless you can afford a room with a balkony you spend very little time there. Don't worry about spending money onboard, everything is paid for in the cruise price except drinks. You need some formal wear for a couple of the meals. (mother in law streched my wifes dress and I had to buy her a $500 dollar dress for the last meal.) We went on the Carnival Fantasy, you know the one that caught fire. Must have some deer techknowledgy onboard.
