The movie is American Harvest Made for television, American Harvest is set in the heartland of Kansas. Two proud, stubborn families have not spoken to one another because of an incident in the distant past. Wayne Rogers, the patriarch of one of the families, is in danger of losing his wheat farm. He knows that his land will be saved if he patches things up with rival farmer Earl Holliman, but such a reconciliation is out of the questionat least, until the film's final twenty minutes. American Harvest premiered on January 16, 1987

I thought it was a terrible movie. Hoky premise. Childish emotional drivel. One guy goes to his banker to get a loan and brags about not getting government payments. That was suposed to help get a loanIJ Buys old combines so he could cut low and slow and get every head. EfficentIJ Fire somehow starts in the grain tank. THe plot had many holes.

That was probably guys from Brubacher!! They run red KWs. They had 2 Ford 9000's in '97 and the rest were all red KWs. I ran with a silage crew for three weeks that was a friend of Brubacher's. They have put a few guys with that crew every year between summer and fall harvest ever since!! I talked to them a couple years back about it. They said I was the first one to do that. If I went out again, it would be on a silage crew, not a harvest crew!! Thanks!! 4WDman!!
