Is your shop well outfittedIJ Ive looked at Maurer trailers in the past and have only heard good things about them. A bonus is these trailers look like they would be very easy to build in a well outfitted shop. The Flex axles are not hard to find, most trailer shops carry these in stock. The most diffucult thing to me appears to be the front axle, while a simple design. building it strong enough may be a challenge .(Building from scratch with no plans etc) . Take a look at the site below and Im sure you can make up some rough plans of your own. http:__www.maurermfg.com_header.htm

I built mine using an old wagon running gear. Even used the 15" rims but got some very small used tires. Has worked fine for 6 years. Know someone else who did the same thing but cut the centers out of the old rims and welded them into some smaller rims.
