Combines HATS OF TO HYPER II

Both hands are up here--Dave is a legend in southern Minnesota. He sure knows how to get maximum performance from a Gleaner.

Dave is a man after my own heart - he isn't afraid to MODIFY something. He has is an open minded mechanic who is innovative and ambitious enough to try to make things work better. Fortunately for us he has taken the time and effort to share his successes with us. I'd like to be the first to nominate Dave to the "Combine Mechanic's Hall of Fame". His efforts have made a significant improvement in productivity for alot of old Gleaners and satisfaction by their owners. Have a safe harvest Gamaman aka Dean Stevens

My hat is off the the Gleaner guru! It's darned nice to correspond with a fella who is willing to actually help a guy out instead of his own pocketbook! Many, many thanks to Dave for all the help over the years - as well as the other guys on here for all the helpful mods, ideas, and suggestions. Tom langan

We too have been led down the path of proper Gleanering by Dave. We are too stupid (cheap) to pay someone to do the hypering for us so we have done it all ourselves with parts, advise and many calls to Dave. Most recently (last weekend) He held our hand though a Cummins repower of the N5. He has always been very helpful. Kirk

No doubt about it David is the best. Rare is it to meet a person so generous with his time and ideas! We've made several 6 hour trips to have him help us with our combines...all very worth while! I sure wish he lived in my neighborhood for even more help. In case everyone didn't know, David knows his way around planters and row cleaners as well. Brian

Pete, Thanks,but I am not the only one on this board that would be willing to help.That's what I like about our Gleaner Page.So many people willing to help each other.We could have all kept our little secrets about performance enhancments to ourselves.But,it's the positive feedback that keeps us striving for more. Great job and thanks HyperII for your efforts. Its great to hear what you've done to bring a pile of Gleaners to life and what you've done to keep them there. I have a guy half way between us and another dealer (Ray Rham) that shares a very similiar past. Your guys continued support for the Gleaner combine is outstanding. Thanks a million!!!!

Dave, I too have enjoyed the helpfulness of everyone on this board. It is really refreshing to watch people share their knowledge based on experience and the only reward they get is the satifaction that they have helped solve someone's problem. Pete
