Cornman, If you would convert either of those two hds, you would have a 6 row when finished. It could be done. We converted a 1084 IH (8- 38's) to a 10 row 30",(used plastic- Poly Tin) we had to add a couple of inches to each end of the tool bar. You will have some x- tra bar left when completed. From the center of the gear box of row 1 to center of row 8 on 30" is 210" plus 15"on each end =240". Row 1 to row 6 on 36" is 180" plus 18" on each end = 216". Good luck.
