Combines have 9750 sts or should have 2388

Well, for one thing, comparing the 2388 to a 9750 is not what should be done cuz of different power level. So, in that case, should be comparing the 2388 to the 9650. However, to answer your question whether or not to go for a 2388 over the 9750. I can guarantee that the crops rolling thru the 2388 will have fewer damage compared to the higher crop damage rate rolling thru the 9750. You can even check the facts in the Farm Industry magazine from a couple months ago that had testing done between 3 or 4 brands. Also, the 2388 is a much better investment than the 9750. Fewer repair bills. Much more reliable and less downtime. That, of course is just my insight from what I have ran between the STS and 2388. I am sure other farmers out there have gotten different results between those two. Hope this helps.

Well JohnDeere most be doen something right or they would have been baught out. There are two reasons i buy JD. The first is i want something i can sell and get money out of. The second is i dont have to worry about who is going to own JD next week like all u CaseIH guys. I wonder who will own CNH next weekIJ

That resale value on the 9600 is really top of the line. I bet a 2388 or R72 of the same year of a 9600 would out sell it in our area. The JD lots are full of used green ones that they cant sell around here.A neighbor of mine has a 9600 that he said he was just going to keep running it because it wasnt worth anything on trade in.And you forgot the big reason that you buy JD. i don't care who owns caseih but john deere combines don't hold a candle light to caseih's. besides john deere stole case's rotor idea anyways they know rotors are the only way to shell corn that's why they stole the idea. That's what sts stands for "stolen technology system". Case will always be better than john deere
