I read it but I leave it alone. I don't give a crap what they say as long as my JD combine gets the crop in without breaking down and giving me a good sample which my combine has done for me. Sombody said they thought NH Don had better class and I would have to agree with him. BTW-One of the local CRs around here was traded for a JD 9860 STS due to problems with the machine.

I think what NHDon was asking was when will John Deere have a self level sieve system on there combinesIJ You better hope that it is not as long as it took them to put a rotor in a combine.

Any idea that greene junk hasn't come up with until they copied they thought was stupid. They always touted the cyclinder_walker machines were better than any rotory combine. Even though cyclinder_walker has twice the moving parts which means more to go wrong and higher maintence costs. But, now rotories are the best things in world since they've copied CaseIH's design and modified it a little with there single tine seperator (aka) straight through seeder. JD has never been known for good grain tank samples because the cyclinder is so harse on the grain as it comes. Who does the potato chip, seed companies and so on rely for good grain quality New Holland. JD didnt come out with any kind of lateral till until the 10 series combines came out, which is about 10 years after New Holland and everybody else had. Now JD has gone to Fendt for the CVT technology to put in there tractors just to say they have it too. If I had my choice of buying a CVT tractor it would defiently be the FENDT with the "GERMAN ENGINEERING"

It appears the yellow ppl are letting their jealousy get the best of their thoughts again. Wonder who will own them in the next 2 yearsIJ And as far as the walker machines getting a poor sample..the combine does just as good as the operator sets it. If your not able to figure it out how to set it, I am sure you will blame the combine and not yourself..I have seen good and bad samples of all types of combines, so that statement has no merit whatsoever. It all boils down to the operator, when they make a combine that can adjust itself, somebody will still complain about it for some reason. My cousin used to own a famous TR, he now has his 2nd deere since. He does not regret the move at all.

Our 9600 corn machine gets a fine sample, maybe not as good as either of our 7720 small grains did but with it being a corn machine we dont expect it to.
