agcoman, What chaffer do you have installed on topIJlong tooth or short toothIJHopefully you have the short tooth installed and opened up to around 1_2"-5_8".Bottom seive in lower hole and set to a tight 3_8".Air setting somewhere between 6-7 depending on shoe load(which sounds like you have a lot if stems are pulverizing).You will have to keep an eye on shoe loss,but take the air up until you start blowing the beans out,then back it down from there.You need to keep a lot of air up top to keep the bean hulls floating to the back and out of the combine.If you have a hillside blower,it should be set to 1_2-3_4 open.Do not over do this unless you have the rolling ground to use it on.As for the beanscreen,they work,there is no question.Check with loewen Mfg. on this as the AGCO price is off the wall.With a little fine tuning I am sure you can get this M2 to do the job it is supposed to.
