Combines HD 20 bolt final drives

HD finals are standard equipment now but were an option on all 2100 and 2300 series combines. The HD finals had roughly 100 lbs more cast in the housing and the output shaft was much larger (5" vs 3.5") as well as the internal bearing sizes as well. HD finals had 20 bolt holes in the flange face and the standard ones had 10. The 12 row ready units had a larger displacement steering system as well as two steering cylinders on the rear axle, 16 cast rear weights mounted in front of the rear axle for counterbalance and I think larger feeder lift cylinders and some improvements in the feeder housing construction as well.

Thanks RedHat. Is there anyplace on the web that shows the options for the 2100_2300 seriesIJ You'd think that Case would, but if they do, I can't find it.

I don't know of any place on the web that will show you the options that are_were available on the 2100_2300 series. Case-IH site does not have it yet, only way to get info at this time is to talk to a dealer.
