My dad came up with this to straight cut wheat here in Ontario. You need a yard stick, small hinge a few machine bolts and sheet metal screws, and a 1 X5 inh piece of sheet metal The hinge is bolted to the bottom of the yard stick . This is then mounted on the right side of my 860's cabon to the feeder housing. The yard stick sits flat against the glass. Make a hoop out of the scrap sheet (so that it will hold the yard stick next to the glass) and bolt it to the cab. position this gadget so you can view it easily To maintain the same height all you now need is a piece of electrical tape on the glass in the cab. Find the height you need to maintain position the tape and Voila. I am sure other things could be used to do the same. let us know how you make out. Hope this helps.
