I know where you are coming from but if you are fairly new to the machine, you might want to give it a little more time. Going from gleaners to a 1680 to a 2188, I didn't like the button direction on the 2188 to start either, but after I got used to it, I like it that way. Think of hydraulics in a tractor where forward puts it down and back is up. I now go between the 1680 and 2188 and have no problem. The other thing is, having a combine that's backwards of everbody elses could be dangerous if someone else needs to run your combine.
