Combines Header reel speed not changing

need more info, does this unit have its own pumpIJ or does it use the combine's hyd supply like on a late 50-52 60-62IJ IF it has its own pump added, the 'clutch' is stripped. later units have no clutch. Remove the motor and gear attached to the motor shaft and confirm this. Also the pintle could be stuck, use a pocket screwdriver to free up.

It has it own pump on the header. Everything looks to be turning into the pump. Where is the pintleIJ Thanks

Remove the motor, The gear on the end of the motor sticks into a area where you will sell a rod the size of a pencil with teeth cut into it. There is a plug under the bottom and a plug on top to remove or free up. When a motor failed in the past (500 headers not late 300 heads did not come equipped with the pump so it was added and there are several versions that could have been added) we would set the variflow pintle to the correct speed til we could get replacement back to the field.
