If you do not mind me asking what did the rig cost with headsIJ Do you dump on the goIJ Are you cutting irrigated only or bothIJ I bet you will love it!! I want one but do not want to be in any farther debt than I am!!

Yes we catch on the go, but only in corn and very little in soybeans. I dont like the compaction it creates since we notill beans into wheat stubble, and no-till our corn into bean stubble. We traded in a 1996 yr 9500 with 2223 engine hours, 1732 sep hours, a 922 flex platform, and a 693 polly corn head, all was bought new in 1996. They allowed us around 55,000 for our combine and remainder for heads. We traded for 150,000 and got all new heads 8 row and 30 foot. The machine does not have Greenstar since we run PF3000 Pro Agleader monitor. If you have any more questions, just post them. Are u looking into buying a 9650IJ

I dont think youll be able to figure out what you did with out it. I drove a 9750 for a week cutting beans and it cut circles around the 9600's. They all had 30ft flex in beans. Guy had a 930 D that he used in rice and he said he was cutting around 10'000 bu. an hour. As long as you can keep it fed in there evenly it will cut beans at 6.0 mph but i omly cut that fast to keep on the safe side, im sure you could go faster.

No im not planning on trading. I wish we could but they cost to much!! We have a 9600 with about 1500 sep hours and is still in great condition and it does our job. We raise only wheat and milo all dryland and dump on the go when we have a cart driver so it works out good for us. Thanks for your input when you start cutting be sure to tell us how it goes. How much per hour could you get with your 9500 in good corn. The one time we cut corn we could run about 3300bu an hour out of it. That really impressed me!!

About 2 years ago we were shelling corn with our 9500 combine with a 6 row head shelling 215 corn that was testing about 23%. I was getting to run about 3.3 mph. we were taking our time and just bought 2 new semi hopper bottoms, but i was shelling about 2000 per hour. I'm sure we will be able to do much more than that now. later

How many combines to get 10000 bu.per hr IJIJ And what did you say they were cuttingIJ I thought you meant 10000 bu of beans per hourIJ Surely You meant something else or they had a fleet of combines. IG

WOW what does rice yeildIJ Neighbor's 9610 could only cut a little less than a 100 acres a day in good beans and he's a good operator.

Avg rice yield is from 160-200 bushels an acre. If you get in a precision leveled field w_ straight levees and its somewhat dry, that combine will move. It will also do a good job cutting lodged rice. The red combines wont cut lodged rice.

Thanks for the info, now I know one thing about rice. I take that back, two things, it takes flooded fields. That guy would still have to do almost an acre a minute,50 to 60 acres a hour. That is as much as spraying with 52 foot booms.

Are beans hard to run through a machineIJ I never have cut any. Never have cut rice either is it hard to run through a combine alsoIJ Sounds like impressive yields in the rice. And does the CTS cut corn or milo very goodIJ I had heard they did good in any crop and JD did bad by saying they are barley and rice machines.
