Combines header troubles

Where's the slug coming from and what head do you runIJ

We talked to our dealer about the same issue on our 3-16. He mentioned the auger needs to be away from the back rails 3_8" and the same from the pan, we set ours at 1_2 and seems to work fine. Make sure your reel fingers are in place on the ends and deliver material to the auger, our only slugs would come from broken or bent reel tines not there to do the work needed. It is a matter of cutting and feeding evenly. Good luck
