Great idea Marvin! Seems like we need all the threshing ability we can get in the Hard Red Winter Wheat. Three cover plates help a lot but we still run a pretty tight concave clearance. Maybe the helical bar will let the concave be opened up a little to increase capacityIJ I was thinking about using the small wire concave with interupter bars in the front segment to increase the theshing but decided against it because I was afraid it would plug up solid when we switched to milo. I really like the looks of the helical for the front segment.
