We bought a complete set for this harvest to avoid the horrible daily task of removing concaves to clean out straws folded over wires in damp conditions and hopefully lengthen our days a bit (in not so sunny Scotland). Ours are the "wireless" version from Gorden Harvesting. They didnt completely stop the straw folding problem, but as soon as rotor loss monitor says more than normal grain is going over the back you can stop and clean them out in a couple of minutes and keep going a little longer. We are running airjet chaffer as well. I dont know if standard chaffer would cope with additional MOG due to having no wires, but sample from our setup in damp (25%) wheat is superb. If a particular side of your rotor is blocking it could mean you need to move rotor that way in the cage a little to bring the rotor bars a little closer to the concaves in that area. Zero and level concaves so they are just "pinging" with adjustment at zero and you can "shave" material off bars while turning at the end of rows.
