Hey Mike you are lucky it rained here in South Dakota so I get a chane to go surf. The AFX rotor has performed very well we have had problems with the seperator belt we are on our fourth one but the tech from harvest support said this is a new type of material in this belt and should last alot longer. We have done about 3500 acres so far and We are very impressed with the capicity with the new rotor you have to watch your rotor speed because you don't hear the rumble and if you are in heavy going your rotor speed will drop. As for the feeding we really pushed it in some white winter wheat in Kansas the wheat was going 75 bushels to the acre and the combine would handle it as well as the rotor we pushed it to 5.5 mph at that point the grain loss monitor would start going overboard and it was rotor loss.We then slowed our ground speed to 5 mph and it handled it well. We feel you have more capacity then we had with the specialty rotor. We haven't been in really tough straw condition yet so I can't say as to how much of an improvment the AFX rotor will be there but I am sure Jeff will try it out for us. Hope this answers some of your questions if you want know more Jeff has our South Dakota phone number give me a call.
