With out knowing the moisture of the corn and a few other things it is hard to say what might help.the concave could maybe be opened up more.try pulling the bottom sieve right out and adjusting the top down till their is no cob.i have found it increases capacity on my 8780.if the corn is fairly dry it will clean great with one sieve.the increase in air flow makes quite a differance and moves the cob along the sieve.

If you've tried most combinations of rotor speed and concave clearance, start by removing the first four rows of rotor knives (12 in total) that you can access through the concave extension or overalap. This is the perforated piece that you see bolted to the concaves through the left hand rotor access doors. Try that, and if it seems to improve but still not to your satisfaction, then remove the remaining 3 rows in the rear (9 total) from the rotor. These knives are great for separation, but can break fragile cobs. To remove, just loosen the two nuts on each knife and slide forward. The rear knives will require a socket with a long extension to reach through the rear grates.

Try slowing the rotor down to 300 RPM. Make sure the concave is level front to back.

Removed first 6 knifes, increased concave to 1.5, and slowed rotor down to 280, fan at 1030. seems to be better now. Main problem is moisture of corn, I'm sure, running 24-28. But it's the last of Oct can't leave it to much longer or snowballs will be flying here in Minn.
