Greyhawk That sounds like it might work but how are you going to drive itIJ I'm trying to picture a longer belt and running it from the front main drive pulley off of the walker crank back to the main spreader and back down to the makeshift chaff spreader but in heavy straw I'm afraid where the belt is usually over 75% of the pulley a conversion like that will make it more of a 30% belt surface to pulley surface and it might slip. I guess you could run a double pulley system on the main spreader system and as you pull the spreader back to tighten the belt it would tighten the main one and the auxillary one at the same time. What was you thinkingIJ You sure should be able to make a shaker pan to sift the chaff down to the spreader out of some scrap sheet metal easy enough. Inquisative idea.....never thought of that one before. Sure should be cheaper than an aftermarket chaffer. Deerebines
