You need to pull concave wires. Starting with the fisrt wire, pull 2 then leave 1. If the corn is wet and leafy, Sometimes pulling the first wire and leave 1, works in soybeans also
I would suggest leaving wires in n1 and half of n2 concave then pull wires as suggested.This has solved a lot of problems for my customers. What rotor do you haveIJ
When I farmed we did a lot of high moisture corn.Thats why I mentioned pulling wires in the concave area.This in effect gives the back half of the concave almost the same opening as the grate area.What position are your vanes in over the concaves and gratesIJ I would also run the maize bars, not the straight bars over the grate area.This will make your rotor more aggressive over the grates. Hope this helps.
When doing wet corn,I had standard rotor.Pulling wires will in effect give about the same opening as the separator grates.If you have straight bars on your rotor over the grate area,consider putting in the maize bars.These have teeth on them which will give more agitation and provide better separation and crop throughput.
