The piece you are referring to is called a hydraulic attenuator and its purpose is to smooth out the pressure vibrations caused by the piston pump. I have never tried to remove one from the system. You can take it off and attempt to weld it. One of my customers tried that last week and was successful. Worth a try as a new one is around $500.

I would think that you could eliminate it if it is just an attenuator. Can't think of any late model pfc systems that use such an animal.

Is the 1086 a good tractor. I have an opportunity on one and wonder if they are a decent tractor. What should a person ask for questionsIJ are the torques reliableIJ thanks
