Combines Help with N6 Hubs

We thought you had your problem finished. The magnetic plug is doing it's job. The filings may be from prior failure that didn't get cleaned or from the seating in of some part if you are lucky. The hub is easy to take apart and inspect. See what you find. I have had no problems with rebuilt units. It was the first failure that usually causes us the most concern of getting the metal out of the system with out failing the hydro if a motor goes down. lH units give the most problem because most combines turn to the right and the resulting 'pop the whip' action causes the unit to run at higher speeds than the other. Your response had some used units for sale did he notIJ

Thank you very much. I will check the unit. Also, I am trying to contact the person with the used units; no email was provided. Thanks again.

on your rear hubs dont ever run them on the road locked in. I mean unlock them at the hub, when they are ran on the road locked in they turn the gears in side the hub at a much faster speed than was intented.
