Rodono Industries ltd. (403) 784-3864 makes a awsome chopper (drum and blades) it has dual blades instead of singles and built stronger, I think even the new gleaner choppers like to lose a blade every now and then. That will fix the chopping, the spreading needs help thats for sure, I took on some new land that the previous owner used a Jd STS on it with a Redekop MAV chopper and wow what a job they do spread right out the full 36' feet into tiny little pieces, didn't heavy harrow that field in the fall and come seeding the stubble was about 10 inches high and all the ground black and even across the width of cut, now my gleaner same story not to bad when its dry, still nothing like what the MAV will do, and when the straw is wet I end up with a windrow on the right side. Need a solution to get the spread!
