NO. A hydraulic accumulator woudl be nice though. It is a shock absorder for the system. The springs were used to lessen the amount of pressure needed to lift the header on the F2 as it ran constantly on releif pressure set by the 'Genie' valve connected to the control cable. Set the springs too loose and the system overheated. The F3 only actuated to raise or lower and was in neutral in the dead_hold position when running which built no pressure_heat.
