I haven't found the comparison to coal yet. Here is another idea. In the 80s I have seen a combustion engine that burns vegetable oil, like oil pressed out of olives, rape, soybeans, sunflowers or any other oil seed. This engine was compared to a diesel motor. But it was only half the size of a diesel with the same horsepower. It did not have a radiator, because it created so little heat, that an oilcooler was sufficient. I have seen a tractor, the size of a 4020 JD, that was fitted with this vegetable oil burning engine. But it was only a three cylinder motor still putting out 100hp. To get the fuel for this motor, all you'd have to do is, press the oil out of the seeds, filter it a little and put it in your tank. This motor can also consume diesel fuel, if a station with vegetable oil would not be close. All of the above DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO with Biodiesel. Biodiesel is very expensive, because it requires a raffinerie and makes the oil companies richer. Do you want to know moreIJ Go to www.elsbett.com
