I'm not trying to be defensive here; anytime a new product rolls down the assy line the first time you would expect some snags, but you said seal - the only seal I can think of put in in Hesston is the main clutch shaft seal or the gearbox. All others are vendor items such as valvestack, lift cyls. RWA,etc. A failure of these items would occur no matter where built. The valve dropping in a Cummins engine is rare and has nothing to do with assmebly in Hesston. The two units we have from Hesston -geez I hate to say this cause I know whats gonna happen - have been without incident so far. Also what items had excesive wearIJ I'm sure the plant would like to know. As witnessed by the ones who have been to the plant - these guys take exceptional pride in their work.
