G'Day TBran Now TBran, we had very similar symptoms like what you describe in our N7! I don't think it was completely solved before we sold it back in 94!!! the auger always used to swing out when you started up so both me and the old man are both very wary about starting the R62 in the shed or beside anything!!! and I do remember something about changing the alternator to stop the beeper coming on when the lights were switched on and we also had I think we had some fun with the pacer as well coursing strange things to come on the warning TT's! Changing the type of Alternator we had on I think made the difference for us!!! (We used to rebuild the delc Alt every year, on that particular year we changed to Bosch and never looked back!!) There were some auto swing modules back in them days that had relays in them that could allow auger to swing when you least expected it. I think the service manuals make reference to this. They would be switched with relays that didn't bother if sent in for rebuild. I had modules with them relays that were very sensative to a voltage problem. Even a lose wire at starter would cause it to swing. Some just needed that surge from starting engine to set them off. I think you still have a voltage supply or ground problem. I would double check currant to tattletales with them plugged in. Check ground up in pressurizer behind hourmeters and bottom of side counsel and cab ground to frame. Run separate ground all the way from battery to ground locations in cab and or currant wire all the way from battery to help identify problem area. Good luck.

Dan, my auger swings in every time the AHHC raises the head. Could that also be a relay problem in the auto swing moduleIJ Thanks Tom in MN

the problem was the ground. System was backfeeding through bad ground on the console floor ground. Still working on the other stuff..
