Its a 1997 John Deere 8400T. It was $85,000 since it was a stock demo with only 50 hours on it. I traded in my Agco White 8510 Field Master which was a 1998 model.

I think you will be happy with the 8400T that you have purchased. There are a couple of things to look for though. I hope that your T has been updated and has the grease hose on the tensioning pivot pin. These freeze up and it is impossible to detension your tracks to change gauge, or to change gauge and track width. Second there is a PIP for the trans. that will cost you nothing. Have your dealer do this as soon as you can. Regarding the lube hose this isn't a PIP and you will bear the cost. It is a a time consuming project. The newer units have this done. We farmers have got to take a stand against these as I call them field trials. We find the bugs.. We pay for them!! Not good!! Bob
