we run massey run an 8570 MF and an 4840 MF 4wd and i know one thing at least massey can actually paint a combine! something gleaner hasn't done till just recently. i know one thing that the MFs 2000 series masseys were real bad i will admit that but the 8000 series both of them are great people love the 4000 series tractors too. but one thing agco and massey needs are DEAlERS period massey is closer to us than agco mf is like 27 and 32 miles but the MF dealer will go out to help us that is something the agco dealer won't. no offense here but the 8000 series is bad in my mind rough starting, noisey seat, and loud inside the cab. allen

I also have several MF tractors from an 1100 to a 4880 that have been very dependable around here. I only wish replacement batteries for tractors, trucks and the Hyperized R60 were half as good. How about it guysIJ Are you happy with replacement batteriesIJ Tom in MN

Just go to WalMart and buy their batteries. We started buying Champions from there about 10 years ago and were very happy with the batteries. Cheaper to begin with, 60-72 month warranty, and when we did have a warranty claim they were very generous with the rebate_discount they gave us. Some of those batteries have lasted us 8 years -- by far the best life we've gotten out of batteries since the 1970's.
