I've done a lot of high moisture barley over the years. lots of wind and don't overthresh it. If you overthresh it there will be short pieces of straw in the grain. The straw will not ferment. You will be amazed at how easy it is to thresh.

Ya it was amazing how it easy it was to thrash and get a really clean sample.. it was good barley too 114bu_ac dry

Well you won't have to worry about over threshing it then, just set it and go. Cows don't care if there is alittle straw in it. lOl

Hey Ripped... hahahha that is the trick the old girl held up so far, less then a week we should be rolling .. that 8010 sure would come in hand with all this tough straw and hard threshing wheat were going to have to deal with this year... You all ready to go IJ Almost like you've been hiding in the bushes the last couple of months and only come out when its time to harvest..
