I'm of the opinion that you can't get too much air volume in an Axial flow. Of course if you did, you could just turn the fan rpm's down a little. We always ran ours maxed, even with the old style fan. As for whether the kit increases the flow, I can't say, but it does look fundamentally sound to me.
