Combines Hillco fans

If you are talking about the kit like what is posted in the attachments page on this site for the paddle fan, yes they do work great. I've been running one in a 1680 long sieve conversion for many years and like it very much. If you do install one, I found removing the side wind shields helped a bunch and also cutting out the end shrouds of the fan housing seems to let the fan breath more to its potential. They're easy to install once you remove the sieves. I only run the fan kit. I tryed several different air deflector or diverter plates and tin, and have removed them all quite rapidly. The crops that I run are wheat, clovers, grass seeds, and have ran oats and oats and vetch in the past. The fan rpm is much less sensitive now as is the whole cleaning unit.

Yep, get one. It's easily the best money we spent on our 1480. Much cleaner sample. If you run disrupters on an older combine you really need them. It will take a little longer to put in than what they say though. Chads
