Combines hillco leveler on a 9500 or 7720IJ

Hillco now makes a bolt on hillside lever for the 96xx models but not for the 95xx series. There are a few 7722's with a full hillside leveler on them that was installed by R A Hanson in Spokane WA. floating around in the Pacific NW. I think that was the last official John Deere "Hillside" combine. All those since have been aftermarket kits made by one of three or four outfits in Idaho and Washington state. You can get a link to Hillco by going to Attachments on the CIH page.

Hillco now manufactures a 27 percent leveler on the 9650 and 9750 STS combine. It's a bolt on kit done by your dealer. I harvested with one this harvest and it blows the M Squared 32 percent leveler away. It has way more power, because of far less hydraulics, it's balanced, the combine is not modified like the M Squared leveler and it's several thousand dollars cheaper.I've been around alot of M Squared levelers and have had alot of down time because of the leveler, and with the Hillco leveler we had ZERO down time, it just ran great. Plus from what I understand Hillco built 80 leveling systems this year for all colors, so I feel comfortable that they will be in buiseness for a long time to come unlike M Squared. So if you're looking to buy a leveling system I recommend a Hillco system.
