Combines HillCo

The Hillco leveler is a simple well designed leveler that works well. About the main limitation is that it will only level on slopes up to 27%, mainly because of tire side load limitations, but that is good enought for most situations. A full 40% plus RAHCO leveler is going to cost at least twice as much or more. Also the Hillco bolts on so you can keep it if you get a newer combine of the same basis design. I also think the Hillco leveler is approved by Deere so you won't void the warranty by installing a leveler, I know CIH approved of them for their machines.

big dis is it adds about 9" of height to an already real tall machine. Makes it hard to go down the road with a hopper extension up without taking all the power lines with it. Also, another baddy is the 32K or so it takes to own it. Big plusses are you can fill your grain bin full every time, no matter where you are; operator now will sit comfortably in his seat all day and never notice how steep the hills are. This is a huge bonus to me. GS

I suspect the link on the attachments page is out of date. It is Hillco Technologies now. Here is a link to their site.
