We would like a JD combine to run along side our CTS II. The 9500 and CTS II are the same combine except the CTS has two rotors in place of the straw walkers. That makes maintence a little easier since both combines have some of the same parts, belts, and filters. Also, the 9500 would only be run half of the time as the CTS because our combine driver has to work untill about 4:00. That would make the CR probably too big and expensive to run it only half of the time. We also believe that the whole machine should be level and not just the shoe. We have about 900 acres of hills and some of it is steep enough to tip a combine over if you are careless enough. We farm in north central Montana and I haven't heard of any demos on the CR. Were are these demos going to take place. The NH dealers here are still pushing the TR. They have brochures on the CX but not the CR.

having the shoe level will help a lot, won't allow you to use all of your grain tank, among other benefits.

That and having to sit in a tilted seat all day. Wouldn't the staw come out the combine on the downhill side tooIJ It does on our 8820.

My company manufacturers leveling systems for most models of John Deere combines including the 9500 and 9510 as well as the CTS machines. 27% leveling and hydraulic header control are standard. They work great in the hills but will cost you about $30,000. I drove through Montana on I-90 the other day and came through some hilly small grain country. I don't think we've ever marketed to that area eventhough we sell units further east along the Mississippi and Missouri rivers every year. We have a 9500 sidehill and a 9632 hillside for sale. Both great machines, the 9500 has less hours. We are located on the central coast of California. However we shipped the machines to Walla Walla Washington
