I lease a couple sts combines each year and I pull a Macdon with one of them. I used a flat iron under the tow hook, then welded 2 flat irons on edge on each side of the tow hook to the original flat iron, then drilled a 3_4 inch hole through the 2 flat irons to where a bolt could be put through the hook on the combine. I'm sure I'm not explaining it very well but I could probably send some pictures. It fit real good on the combine I built it for, but I have since learned that there are small differences between machines, usually just amounts to using a smaller bolt. email if you would like pictures.
