Combines How are the Sisu Engines working out IJ

Only got a couple out in combines this year. The guy that keeps good records claims 1.5 gal savings per hour with the Sisu over last years QSC. That was in a machine equiped with CDF and I left it bone stock (can't believe I did that). Of course this year was hot and dry so hard to compare. Anyway the Sisu's we've been using since the middle '90s have been working like a fine tuned clock. I think the only engine that sounds as solid as the electronic Sisu's is the electronic Navistars. I think the only thing about the Sisu powered combine I don't like is the hydralic drive rotary screen. We didn't have any problem with it but did slow it down from original specs per Gleaners suggestion. I found the old windmill driven system worked perfect if adjusted properly and oh so simple. Have a good day
