the bearings are easy to replace and u should not have to remove the shaft with all the gears..just close ur sieve and throw a sack or mat on top and climb in..punch out the roll pin behind the gear noting how many washes are in front of the roll pin and behind it these must go back in the right place ..the auger should go forward enough to remove ur bearing if it does not u can undo the wooden block under the feeder house..u can remove the whole auger at the same time 9 times out of 10 u do not have to touch the wooden blocks only slide the gears out of ur way if u have to hope this helps
