Check your local coops they all have it around here. But you need to ask. We have been using it for about a year. Price is usually 1 Penny per %. Standard is 2%. Have not noticed any difference in starting or running in the cold. If it extends the life of pumps and injectors it should be a good investment on both ends.

Used 2% soydiesel in 2002, used 10% in 2003. local co-op blends to suit customer. 2% blend is priced equal to regular premium diesel (Cenex Fieldmaster). Each % above 2% is 1 cent per gallon - i.e., 10% costs 8 cents more than regular. No problems with soydiesel at all.

HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR 2 YEARS NOW WITH NO PROBlEMS YET. STARTED AT 2% THEN STARTED WITH 11% BlEND THIS SUMMER NO PROBlEMS IN SEMIS OR FARM MACHINERY BUT BACK TO 2% THIS WINTER WAS TOlD IT COUlD CAUSE SOME PROBlEMS IN COlD WEATHER. IllINOS HAS A TAX BREAK IF OVER A 10% BlEND SO COST IS AlMOST THE SAME.
