We just traded a 2001 480 with 750 separator hours. The slip clutch failed at about 400 hrs, they installed an updated clutch for free. This past season we had one of the ribs on the rotor belt separate, didn't stop us, but we replaced it the next day. This year also saw us tighten up our slip clutch after plugging the feeder house in tough barley, it was a mistake because after that we started to plug the cylinder, which we had never done before; eventually we snapped the APS belt and blew the APS and cylinder inspection doors off. Our fault...message to lexion owners...don't mess with the slip clutch!! Basically the machine has been rock solid and a joy to operate. Its far and away more reliable then the Gleaner we used to run, similar to our old TX. We didn't really put enough hours on ours to determine wear.
