Very similiar up to a point where the tall flighting on the 800 realy shines. Don't know if you can over stuff that auger. I've heard of old timers doing handstands after installing raised feather sheets. Even with raised feather sheets and HCC level two reel the stunted short beans may not want to feed well. In that case I had a guy trim flighting on far sides so reel could be drawn back another inch or so and problem was cured. There is some chance that hose trick will help as much or more than raised sheets in them super short crops. Most of the guys around here are a bit spoiled and have the Crary air reels installed. That 800 with air reel in my opinion is a perfect setup for straight cutting almost anything and even in very damp foggy conditions.
