How To Bypass Idle Shutdown

Can you tell me how to bypass an idle shutdown? It automatically shuts down after five minutes, which is really inconvenient. I want to turn off the feature.

It has to be reprogrammed at the dealer as though it's unit for a bucket truck or a truck that needs to run while not moving.

What brand and model? What engine? Do you own it or is it the companies truck?

For a pickup, if it has a trailer package, some will disable the shutoff feature if there is a trailer hooked up. Just get a "Test Plug" from Horrible Fright and leave it plugged in.
