Combines How to keep mice out of grain truckIJ

Mothballs might help but keeping the truck clean, free of grain, dust, chaff ect will go along way. If they cant find a food source or source of materials for their nests they probably wont be much of a problem. If all else fails, lock the doors and hide the keys :-]

Putting a renuzit air freshner in the cab works for me. Open the thing about 1_4-1_2 inch and it will keep the mice out all winter. Works, but smells a lot better than moth balls.

Go to www.earth-kind.com and look for a product called Fresh Cab.It was invented by a farm wife to keep mice out of combines, trucks etc.It is made from ground corn cobs I think and treated with a potpourri type scent that mice don't like ,but you will.It goes on the premise that mice have a very strong sense of smell, and smells they don't like, they really don't like.

Is there a particular fragrance that you useIJ I wouldn't want to use apple flavour, for example, and find it attracts the critters!

Can't name the ones I use, don't remember the names. Just grab one off the shelf, and smell the package. If it smells like somthing you would not like to smell at close range all day, I toss a half dozen in the shopping cart. When you need to use the machine, you close the plastic egge to save the thing and open the windows_doors for a quick airout.
